New hires

Effective November 1, 2025, Mag. Ulrike Strömer joins the MLM Team in Austria East, bringing a wealth of experience from renowned pharmaceutical companies in both OTC and scientific liaison roles. She will further strengthen the embecta presence in insulin delivery, focusing on primary care physicians and all patient education sites, including diabetes wards and internists specialized in Diabetes Care. Ulli has quickly and passionately immersed herself in the pen-needle business. Her energy is a key driver in leveraging the momentum of our relaunch—transitioning from “BD-Needles” to “embecta-Needles” in Austria.

Effective January 1, 2026, Ludwig Beer joins the MLM Team, covering Salzburg and parts of Tyrol. Luggi brings extensive experience in Diabetes and Cardiology, including expertise in diagnosing Heart Failure using NT-pro-BNP lab measurements. He is highly regarded within these medical communities. Luggi will manage the embecta business project and lead the launch of www.bio-beat.com products for 24-hour ABPM in his territory.
